The short version
If The Attending does not earn its price for you, email support@theattending.net within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not have to explain why. You keep the files.
Why the policy is written this way
This is a digital product. We cannot un-give you the files, and pretending otherwise would only produce a policy that is theatrical rather than honest. So we do not try. We would rather someone who did not get value keep the materials and their money than argue with a physician about a $99 purchase.
Our reputation with clinicians is worth considerably more to us than the revenue from any single disputed sale. That is not generosity; it is arithmetic.
What is covered
Every product sold on this site is covered by the same 30-day window:
| Product | Price | Refund window |
|---|---|---|
| Clinician Suite | $99 (founding price) | 30 days from purchase, full refund, no questions, keep the files |
| Practice Suite | $299 (up to 10 clinicians) | 30 days from purchase, provided fewer than 10 seats have been distributed |
| Enterprise licenses | By agreement | Governed by the terms of that specific agreement, which will be in writing |
Any future add-on module, specialty pack or standalone product sold from this site is covered by this same policy unless its own listing states otherwise in plain language on the purchase page, not buried in a footnote.
How to request a refund
- Email support@theattending.net from the address you purchased with.
- Include your order number if you have it. If you do not, we will find it. Your email address is enough.
- You do not need to give a reason. If you want to tell us what did not work, we would genuinely like to know, but it is optional and it has no effect on whether you are refunded.
Refunds are processed within three business days of your email. The funds then take however long your card issuer or PayPal takes to post them, typically 5-10 business days, entirely outside our control.
Before you ask for a refund, two things worth trying
Not because we want to talk you out of it, because these two problems account for most of the refund requests we could have solved in one email:
- "My organization has not approved AI tools." Four of the seven workflows use no patient data at all, practice operations, teaching, patient education and career work. If that is the blocker, write to us and we will point you at those four specifically.
-
"There is too much here and I do not know where to start." Open
00_START-HEREand follow its single instruction: choose one workflow, only one, and ignore everything else until it is habit. If you have opened thirty files and felt the ceiling drop, that is a real reaction and the orientation page was written for it.
Please email us before your bank
On chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, we will resolve it faster than a chargeback will, usually the same day. A chargeback takes weeks, costs us a fee whatever the outcome, and gets you your money no sooner than simply asking us would have. There is no scenario where going to your bank first serves you better. Email us. We will not argue.
The one limit
We reserve the right to decline future sales to a purchaser where a pattern of repeat purchase-and-refund suggests the policy is being used to acquire materials rather than to evaluate them. This has nothing to do with anyone refunding once, for any reason or none. It exists because a keep-the-files policy has an obvious failure mode, and we would rather name it here than quietly add conditions later.
Who processes your payment
All orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, who act as the merchant of record for this store. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, invoicing, and the calculation and remittance of any applicable sales tax or VAT. Your card statement will show a charge from Lemon Squeezy rather than from The Attending.
Refunds under this policy are issued through Lemon Squeezy back to your original payment method. We do not see, handle or store your card details at any point.
A note on measuring whether it worked
We do not publish a measured time saving, because we have not run a study that would justify one. What we ship instead is the Time Recovery Audit: measure your baseline for one week, run a single workflow, and measure again. If the number does not move, you have both a clean reason to refund and the data to tell us why, which is more useful to us than any testimonial.
